Why Your Problems Continue

I am coming to you from my new home in a small town called Bangalow, just near Byron Bay, Australia. Yay! I've been moving slowly up the east coast for a week, collecting belongings that have been strewn across the globe for the past 2 years along the way. I really don't own much, but it sure is nice to have it in one place.

I'm going to stay here for a wee while, and set myself up to have a bit of a base to come back to in between my travels =) I'm excited to have a place to call my own for the first time in 2 years, and very excited to be doing some in-person work with my clients in Australia! It's a nice change.

Now, Because you're busy, and you're independent, and you like being in control of your shiz, I have a special tip for you. No more "beating around the bush" as we say here in Australia, and dilly-dallying with issues that are not at the cause of why things aren't working.

How to Solve Your Own Problems.

The last few months I've been doing a lot of breakthrough work with people, and have been talking about the common threads of our problems with everyone, a lot. The reason, is because our "problems" are like spiderwebs. We see them right on the outside of the web - but they are intricately linked to a spinning spiral of branches that stem from a centre core.

People always come to me with a problem they think needs resolving, and when we get to the core, it ends up changing their entire life - because the core problems are linking everything all together,

I explain it in more depth in this quick little video, with an example of how I totally cleared my 5-year fight with burnout after healing my Chronic Fatigue - along with how to get to the core of your own issues, by yourself - using one simple question:

A Problem Well Stated, Is a Problem Half-Solved

(Click to tweet)

Here is the content from the Video:

There may be a subconscious reason for why you're not getting what you want, you may be self sabotaging, you may be continuing to burn out, and although you think that is what the major issue is and you need to just take the steps to resolve the burnout.

Let's just rewind for a little bit. By the time something becomes a conscious habit for you or a conscious problem, it's already has been manifesting within your body for a really, really long time. And there's often a core issue that's deeper at the surface which if this is not resolved the problem will continue to pop itself up.

When a problem reoccurs. Take it as a warning sign from your body.

Now when this happens, if something is reoccurring in your life, start to take it as a sign that there's something else going on and your body is attempting to give you a little bit of a red flag or a warning. If you're having this problem, I want you to ask yourself the following questions.

If I were to remove this issue today would all my problems disappear?

If the answer is yes, you are dealing with the right problem my friend and you can continue to take the steps to remove it. If the answer is no. What you'll get is a series of other answers all the reasons why perhaps you're actually sabotaging your own efforts at removing issues. Start to write them down and continue to ask yourself if I resolved that would all my problems disappear? If I resolved that would all my problems disappear? You'll start to collect this web of reasons for why you're not getting what you want.

A problem well state it is a problem half solved.

So once you discover what it is that's really going on underneath why you're not doing it, then you can start to resolve it, because you'll be dealing with the real issues.

Getting rid of your problems is not the challenge here,
knowing what the problem really is.

Let me give you an example. I kept burning out. When I asked myself if I resolved the burnout today would all my problems disappear? I had this image in my mind of something that happened 10 years ago, that made me feel completely incongruent and like I lost myself, and I wasn't true to myself. At the core burnout wasn't the issue, even though it was a major physical issue in my life, at the core, I was afraid that if I went balls to the wall that I would lose myself or become incongruent, and it was time to have a little negotiation with myself and really deal with that as the issue, a problem well stated is a problem half solved. So, get a pen and paper and start writing down all the reasons why you think your problems wouldn't be gone if you got rid of this issue. And then once you know what the core level issue is, you get this feeling like, oh yeah that's it, and you can simply start working on the right steps to remove that, instead of all the other distractions.

Now I want to hear from you do this activity, and leave me a comment below and tell me what the real issue was, if you liked this video feel free to share it.

Your turn! Have a go at the exercise, and keep your eyes peeled for what you need, to resolve in order for all your problems to disappear. When you're done, leave me a comment! I'd love to know. Happy Hunting!

Stay Curious, Stay open. The life you crave is so much closer than you think.

Love,
