I Love Being an Adult
Being an adult is awesome.
When I was a kid, I couldn’t wait to grow up so I could finally do what I wanted when I wanted to.
As adults, however, we don’t always have this freedom. Or do we?
One of the fun things about being an adult is recognising just how much choice we have; the freedoms, the liberties.
You may feel pressured about doing certain things but actually…
…you can can eat whatever you want,
…you can wear that superman outfit if you want,
…you can wear the fancy undies today or
…use the nice cups.
You can do whatever you want because you are a damn adult.
This episode is all about reframing the limitations of responsibilities and pressure that come with being an adult and start looking at things with that childlike playfulness again. Yes, you have responsibilities, but they don’t have to limit you. Remember this, in everything you have a choice.
You CAN do whatever you want.
