Hola! There’s one supercharged, surefire secret to immediately removing yourself from being in a bad mood, or from feeling worried, or stressed out.

When the pressure is on, - remembering that mainly, this pressure is only that which we place upon ourselves to achieve a lot and get things done -  it’s easy to develop negative niggles.

What I mean by this, is as simple as forgetting the big picture. Having a slight sway in the back. A Furrow in the brow - or even, at times, outrageous  bursts of outrage.

Todays video shares the one secret that trumps any bad mood - and to let you in on a little secret, I knew this before I knew that I was suffering badly for years from a chronic blood disorder which was affecting my energy levels and moods.

Meaning - for years, this secret trumped and masked the signs of illness - because I rarely displayed as anything but being happy and healthy. After figuring it out by mistake and healing, it quite simply makes all my days feel simply blissful, and keeps me in check when I’m getting out of whack.

I’ve got an awesome peak performance tip for you today to help you instantly get out of a bad mood…INSTANTLY!

So you’re having a crappy day right; maybe your boss is riding you, maybe everything is going wrong, technology’s failing, you’ve lost clients, maybe you’re stressed about money, perhaps you had a fight with your partner, or maybe you’re just plain out PMSing.

Now what happens when your body is stressed is your focus becomes myopic and it becomes laser-beamed, all the way in, it’s closed, it’s constricted.

When we are in a positive state we feel open and expanded and in what’s called ‘expanded awareness’. Now it’s really difficult if you’re not conscious of it to go from closed to open.

But here’s one tip – just one tool – and I’m going to show you how to do it, to get you instantly from closed to open.

You ready?


The tip is gratitude.

You cannot be in a negative state, it has been proven, when you are in a state of gratitude. The two cannot exist one within the other.

So when you’re feeling negative and you want to bring yourself out of it because you’re aware enough to go “yep, this isn’t working for me”, I want you to come back and say

“What am I grateful for?”.

Now sometimes people find this hard because if you’re really in a negative state and your caught up with it and your hormones are raging, or you’re really peeved off at something that’s going on, it can be very difficult to pull yourself instantly and immediately out of that state.

So my tip is to do this –

As you’re writing down the things you are grateful for, I’d suggest to go for 5 to 10 to 20, keep going until you’re out of your negative state, right, this is how it works – you keep doing it until it works. As you write down each thing your grateful for, write down why.

For example:

“I’m grateful for my partner this morning because he got up early and he put the fire on when I really, really, really just wanted to be warm and it was cold outside.”

Not just ‘I’m grateful for my partner”.

“I’m grateful for my home because I get to live in this country that I love and I know that lots of other people would love to live where I live, and I feel very, very lucky and blessed to be Australian and to be feeling safe in my country.” Etcetera, etcetera.

So, now it’s your turn. I want you to practice this. Practice gratitude in the form of writing down what you’re grateful for AND why, and know that you can use this anytime; you don’t have to write them down – you can do it in your head.

And remember, when you’re in an attitude of gratitude you can’t experience any other feeling.
