As some of you may know, Karate has been a huge influence on my life. I've been training for 15 years, and, today I want to share with you one of the biggest lessons I've ever understood, time and time again to help me (and others) change their unconscious behaviours within a heartbeat.

I talk about Karate and how it teaches us to be in a continued state of relaxed awareness. What I mean by that is awareness without judgement.

We all have those behaviors we unconsciously perform. Many clients ask me ‘How do I stop myself from doing something I don’t even know I am doing.’ You need to observe and be aware of where you might be judging yourself and stop it. Judging yourself keeps you in the pain. Once you are aware, forgive yourself for judging and consider ‘what do I want instead?’

You can make the choice once you are aware.
