A lot of very capable people say, “I just need to get out of my own way”

They believe that placing pressure on change will force the outcome they want to achieve, faster.

“Hustle culture” has amplified this problem by glorifying the “fight” with resistance and pressure.

How do most people “get out of their own way?” They force themselves.

And it works. Until it doesn’t.

It will get you off the bungee platform, but it’s not a way to build a life.

Especially if you’ve ever burned-out (or want to avoid it), or you’ve learned the hard way about ignoring your intuition. After that, force stops being motivating.

Not all resistance is meant to be overcome. (It could be information you’re trying to out-run)

You are not an obstacle.

If you’ve ever asked yourself, “How do I know the difference between when to push through resistance, or when it’s really time to quit?”

Or

“How do I know if the resistance I’m facing is me just coming up against the edge of my comfort zone vs a “sign” that I shouldn’t be doing it?”

Or

“How do I push myself to grow, do new things, or get back in the game, without burning myself out or putting myself in harm's way?”

This workshop is for you.

In this free, 90-minute workshop, you’ll be guided through a practical NLP-based self-coaching process that helps you:

  • Recognise the internal pressure you experience

  • Understand what that pressure is actually trying to protect or create for you

  • Stop defaulting to force, urgency, or avoidance, or worse - self-betrayal

  • Define the difference between self-betrayal through force and self-coaching through presence

  • Take one clean, regulated next step that honours your pace and process, instead of overriding it.

This is a skill you can reuse, privately, in real life.

Self-coaching does not require self-abandonment or trying harder.

It’s about removing the internal friction that makes everything harder than it needs to be, by paying attention to what’s happening and working through it intentionally.

As a professional coach and NLP trainer with 18+ years experience, I support driven, sensitive, deep, creative and curious humans in high performance outside of hustle culture.

My first experience of great coaching was as a student of martial arts. At one point, I was a multi-time world champion fighter. I also burned out as a result.

I know what it’s like to succeed at a great cost. And I understand first-hand how high performance culture can become deeply unhealthy and unsustainable. But it doesn’t have to be.

I’m on a mission to share how humans who have neuro-spicy tendencies, big hearts and permeable nervous systems can achieve anything they want without sacrificing what’s important to them.

I hope you’ll join me for this workshop, I’ll be sharing a lot of how to do that right here.
