Welcome! I am so happy you’re here!
The Bloom Business Incubator is a place where powerful, interesting, unexpected, delightful and brilliant things happen both over a short space of time and where you set yourself up for them to happen over a lifetime. We get to know business as a holistic organism, and learn to make decisions in smart, strategic, burnout-informed ways that accelerate your results.
Over the next twelve months together, you’ll experience layers of learning, insight, connection, and productivity that we will tap into together in a way that may not feel natural at first – slowly.
Our coaching mantra here is “Slow down to speed up”.
At first, we know, it’s intimidating (and annoying) to slow down. Over time, you will prove to yourself again and again, it’s delicious, it’s good for you, and it works way better than “speeding up to speed up” over the long term! Plus, you’ll get more done in a way that makes you feel like you actually have the space to relax, and live the life you dreamed of when you started this whole situation in the first place.
This isn’t theory - this is proven strategy.
On this page you’ll find the relevant information to help you get settled in here before we start, and as we go. Pour yourself a cuppa, and take it all in.
All of our calls are held three weeks of each month, with two live time options to accommodate both Australian and international attendees: on Thursdays at 9:30am and 7:00pm, Sydney time (AEST/AEDT).
The call dates and times can be found in the shared google calendar. You’ll also find these listed in one of the Welcome modules of the Bloom Incubator Course in Kajabi.
Hot Tip: We always recommend subscribing to the digital calendar, because it will automatically populate your own calendar in your own time zone, including those awkward few weeks where the northern and southern hemispheres have time changes for daylight savings at different times. When you first view it, times will appear in Sydney time - click the “➕” in the bottom right corner to subscribe and it will sync to your local timezone.
You’ll find the link to access the call inside the calendar event, so on the day of your call, you can simply click the link in your calendar, and it will open zoom. Before each call you’ll also receive a call reminder email with the link inside.
The call will always be at the same link - https://zoom.us/j/5165615740
If you don’t have zoom downloaded onto your devices yet, we recommend getting that set up right away to avoid any tech hassles on the first day. If you have more than one device, download it to both for an easy switch if you have any tech or battery issues.
At this point it’s really natural if you’re feeling excited, but also a little apprehensive at either something new, a group of people, or, if this is not your first group coaching rodeo with me (in which case, welcome back friend!) what’s going to happen in the months ahead.
I want you to know your feelings, whatever they are, are natural. And they are welcome here on any call they show up. The folks who join a group like this - maybe you can relate - are typically the type who hold it down for others most of the time, and generally have a lot of respect for other people’s boundaries, and a sensitivity and empathy towards the truth of what others are going through. So, not only are you going to be in an amazing space with other people who care as much as you do, it’s also likely going to feel unnatural to be told it’s OK to be your whole self every day - but hopefully it also makes you feel like you can exhale.
And that is part of the plan. More exhale.
Students tell me all the time that this is the one place they can say what they’re really thinking without fear of judgement or worry that it will impact their leadership and performance - and that is a rare thing. To be seen, and understood. It’s okay if you’re not there right now, just know, this is where we’re going.
Many clients join the incubator because, aside from their main goal of going pro with intention in their businesses, and making consistent $5-10k per month, part of what they want to do is learn to be more visible and active in their lives and businesses in a way that feels good - and this is a place to find what feels good, and practise the full range of letting yourself be seen as your authentic self.
This is key: Unlike school, or work, you’re not expected to be “on”, perfect, at your best, or even in a good mood to take part in our calls. You’re not expected to do everything perfectly, or show up to every single thing available - that’s seriously going to cue overwhelm. The biggest insights come from focus, not quantity.
So wear what you want - be that a celebratory attire, everyday clothing or your pyjamas - and show up how you are. It’s welcome and encouraged.
Throughout the years since the first inception of all my group coaching programs, nothing is more certain than the fact that life is uncertain. The way we deal with that, and why our clients continue to achieve their goals is because we expect it. The standard is set that unless we can do something on our worst days, it’s not going to work long-term. The key distinction is - expect the unexpected. The one thing you can predict is unpredictability.
Unless we have made an agreement about something I’ll be holding you accountable to on our calls, the only preparation required is that you have a space where you can comfortably hear and speak without distraction.
I recommend bringing a notebook, pouring a cuppa, reading back on what you’re creating for this season (you’ll learn more about this as we get into our calls), and bringing your most burning question, challenge, or share.
These calls really come alive because of you. So bring your all. There is no such thing as a dumb question. I promise you, it will support someone else on the call, either now or in the future.
Each call when we show up will be different from the last. There’s no set curriculum for the Incubator, but there is a rhythm and a framework we are working within, which is the seasonal container for creating what you’re here to create, and the distinctions we’re basing our actions upon.
On our calls, I treat the coaching as though when I am talking to one person, I am coaching everyone. The power of group coaching is that most of the time someone is receiving coaching on something you yourself either wanted to ask or didn’t know you needed to know - and it’s often when you’re not on the hot seat you get the most insight.
Don’t hesitate to ask something that may feel “off-topic”, this is your space to ask what you need to ask. Also, don’t wait for the conversation to naturally get to where you feel like you can slot your question in, practise just asking or you might be waiting forever! Your questions are always welcome. Nothing is off-topic.
Sometimes you won’t know how to phrase the question, or what the question really is. That’s ok - my job is to help you work that out. Some calls you’ll want to just listen, and not necessarily speak. That’s also ok.
Show up ready to catch an insight and apply it, and to ask for what you need. You won’t be missed if you try to hide, you won’t go unnoticed, you can be where you are. I have got you.
You’re joining a group of brilliant humans who have committed to building sustainable $5–$10K+ businesses over at least twelve months. Some members may have already been in the room for a year or more, returning after an initial round. Others, like you, will be fresh, or reasonably so.
We know this can feel intimidating. Please know that it’s completely natural to feel a little vulnerable walking into an established space. We’re here to make that transition feel as smooth as possible.
Everyone in this room is starting from a different place - whether that’s experience, financial resources, or the current season of life. This is why the timeline doesn’t really matter. You’re not “behind.” You’re starting from where you are - and that’s the only place you can start.
Comparison is a scam and a trap. The playing field was never equal. The starting line was never the same.
I’m a fierce advocate for privacy and for preserving the intimacy of this group. Coaching begins from the moment you enter, and confidentiality is non-negotiable. The standard is simple: we treat one another with the same dignity and respect we hope to receive ourselves.
Belonging is required in order to bloom. And because you’re here, you already belong. That’s it. You wouldn’t be here otherwise.
I know entering an established group can feel like a “sink or swim” moment. But I want you to dive right in - epically - and go straight to the heart of things. That’s what everyone else is doing. You don’t have to. But that’s the invitation, and the standard we’ll hold.
No stress. In fact, sometimes the biggest insight you can get is from not showing up live on a call - and that’s the truth. There are no extra gold stars for participation.
So if you’re unwell or need a rest, trust that by not being on the call, you may even get a more powerful insight than trying to push through and show up, to “be a good student”. No such thing. You will get what you need.
Don’t forget, every call is recorded so you can re-listen later as well.
Throughout our time together, you will have the opportunity to have two private calls with me, which you can take at any time through the experience.
Please note, these calls must be taken during the time we have together, and my schedule does book up quite quickly. If you want to make sure you get them scheduled in and it’s easy, you might want to go ahead and book them now.
If you need to reschedule, you can click the link in the confirmation email you will receive once you book, or the reschedule link in your calendar appointment. You can book your private calls any time at this link. Alternatively, email Erin on our team at hola@hayleycarr.tv.
Set the intention that you will help everyone in this group get what they want, and you will see that intention returned to you, X-fold. (X = the number of people in the group!)
Our community of Bloomers, past and current, is a special one. There is so much value in this group. Tell people what you want to create. Ask for help. Ask for support. Not just from me, but from everyone. If you show up with the intention to give and share vulnerably, you will experience the magic of this community.
Our community platform is housed on Kajabi Communities. After your Kajabi account has been set up, you can access the community via your login at courses.hayleycarr.tv on desktop, or via the Kajabi mobile app. If you are having trouble with your login, email us at hola@hayleycarr.tv.
Once you login, you’ll see a welcome video from me, introducing you to how to use the community app. It’s mostly like facebook!
Remember - during this experience, your life is your curriculum. Yes, we work towards you creating more money, more profits, more freedom, more of everything you want - success as defined by you. We do it while being so aware of creating sustainability and space.
Besides the obvious Rule #1: “don’t be a dick”, there are a few guidelines, but not really any rules.
First, don’t solicit business, this needs to be a sacred, safe space. If business relationships are going to occur between you and another member of the group, it will happen without the group space naturally.
Second, there are always folks with diverse backgrounds, experiences, education, ability, genders, age groups, sexuality, race, religion, and political preferences. So be kind and considerate. Be sensitive and neutral to the fact that you’re in a group of people who may not believe what you believe. (See rule #1 - “don’t be a dick”.)
Finally, there is so much room for you to be you in here. The main thing people worry about more than anything is if they’re taking up too much space by asking questions or sharing their progress. I dare you to take up space. You will get as much as you give out of our community.
Alongside our Incubator, and after many years of hosting this space, we developed a library of resources which you will have access to forever from now on, via our course platform Kajabi.
This library contains helpful videos on mindset, reading book lists, interviews, templates and spreadsheets for business and finance, and a host of other content you may find helpful depending on your stage, season, or goal. You do not have to look through everything or watch it in a particular order, it’s designed as a place you go to get what you need.
Your login to the library will be sent to you in a separate email once we begin. If you already have a kajabi account, or a course account with Hayley Carr, once you are granted access you will see the library show up in your list of courses, and also on the Kajabi app. Questions? Reach out at hola@hayleycarr.tv.
During the Incubator, you will set the outcomes you want to achieve every 90-days (coinciding with the change of seasons of nature depending on your hemisphere), based on your goals for your life, the season you’re in, and what you and I determine is the next best course of action.
The Distinction is: Every 90 days is 1% of the next 25 years. (I first learned this from Rich Litvin, who learned it from Dan Sullivan)
I am not attached to the results you get inside this experience with me. Meaning, if you hit all your goals, I’ll be happy for you, but - what I care most about is your ability to take what you’re achieving here and do it on repeat for the rest of your life. I don’t want you to feel like you need the incubator to continue getting results. I want it to show you how you can do this on your own.
I plan for you to blow your own mind, and I’m excited to show you how you can do it. Slowly, and sustainably.
Occasionally, I’ll play a game with you. You never have to do anything unless you want to, but the concept of play makes it all the more fun to try things out with no attachment and see what happens.
Sometimes, I’ll turn up the flame on you. I’ll say something, give you a dare, reflect something back to you in direct terms that will turn the flame up on your action and results. You’re always in control of what you agree to, and I’m not here to be right, I’m here to mess with your thinking.
And for the entire duration of the incubator, we’re going to be filtering for distinctions. Tiny bytes of insight you can draw from your experiences that will help you make decisions from a place of wisdom from here on out. For example, Slow down to speed up.
This is how we play.
