Tap into your deepest Creativity

- an interview with Nicola Newman.

Creativity is a saving grace for me - but for many years, I was cut off from tapping into my own creative potential. I was completely stumped by things needing to turn out perfectly the first go, worrying about not having the skills, knowledge, or correct materials, and really, giving too many you-know-what’s about what others thought of me.

For a long time, I pushed through these resistances and was able to experience somewhat of an outlet - but the pressure to get things right became crippling - and I found that the things I loved to do which made me feel light, energised and expansive - like singing, photography and even making videos - started to feel hard and pressured - instead of playful and liberating.

Today’s interview is really special to me for two reasons. Firstly, because it’s with one of my best online friends Nicola Newman, who is so unbelievably knowledgeable as an artist about creativity and tapping into that pure potential we all possess.

And secondly, because Nicola is living her purpose.

Creativity, and especially, her secret blend of living a juicy, gentle, creative life - is in her blood. She could talk about how to live a creative life for weeks, and her influence has inspired me to get messy again - throw caution to the wind and truly accept my creative soul.

I could listen to her forever and ever, because the way she teaches me how to tap into my personal potential is really nourishing.

I’m forever grateful for this. And I’m delighted to share her with you, today - to help you tap into your very own potential through understanding how to flourish with a creative life.

And now, for the Dare: Once you’ve watched the video, go and do the dare Nicola dished out - it’s a great one! Once you’ve completed it, come back here and let me know how you went - or, post a picture on Facebook and Tag us! Hayley Carr and Nicola Newman.

I’m keen to know, what are your best tips for flourishing and living a creative life, and how have these affected you positively?

As always, Stay Curious, Stay Open. You are the Omega.

Love,
